Chef Maurad Ali

Chef Maurad Ali graduated in 2001 at the top of his class from Johnson and Wales University in North Miami, Florida. He was recognized as the youngest and most creative up and coming chef by Dining Out Magazine in 2004 and was mentioned as a rising star in fusion cuisine by Ocean Drive Magazine in 2004.

Chef Ali has worked in several well-known restaurants including the Fountain Bleau Resort in Miami Beach, Florida where he was the Chef De Cuisine. Tantra Restaurant and Lounge in Miami Beach, Florida where he was the Executive Chef. Shula's Steakhouse in Miami Lakes, Florida where he was the Executive Corporate Kitchen Manager and Chef's Allen's in Aventura, Florida.

In addition to working in various restaurants, Chef Ali has attended and taken part in several Gourmet Events including New York's Taste of Miami Food Exposition, an event held in New York City were he worked with Executive Chef Michelle Bernstien.

On March 30-31, 2007, Chef Ali took part in Park City Utah's Red, White and Snow charity benefit supporting the National Ability Center. Red, White and Snow offers a unique opportunity for culinary and wine connoisseurs, vintners and skiers from across the country to mingle in an extraordinary setting.
